Women Awake!

 

Following a hugely successful Women Awake 2, back in December 2015, the WEA funded this Women's Sexualities and Lesbian History, Politics and Culture event, to celebrate national LGBT History Month.

 

With good food, and great company, women explored and learned about women's sexuality in a historical and cultural context at the Writer's Studio in Nottingham. 

 

The day included films, discussions, live music, speakers (including 'Lesbianism Across the Waves', a session on 'wanking'(!), performance poetry and more....
