The Ladies' Bridge
Our Women into Film course group were treated to a real gem this week. Karen Livesey joined us, director of The Ladies' Bridge, a wonderful documentary telling the story of the women who rebuilt Waterloo Bridge in London during the second world war. As with much of womens' history, their endeavours were hidden from most of us.
